HOW TO USE THE FUN CUP

New to the FUN CUP? Don’t worry! We’re here to help you get started.
If it’s your first time, we recommend leaving yourself some time to get a feel for putting it in. Like any menstrual product, the cup has a small learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s the easiest protection you’ll ever use!

PUTTING IT IN
Sit on the toilet with your legs apart or stand with one leg propped up. Fold your cup. Insert the folded cup into your vagina. If you’re having a lighter period, a little water-based lube can make things more comfortable. Push it in, scooping back toward your spine. When it’s in, let go, letting the cup open.
Next, create a seal by bearing down with your muscles and twisting the cup back and forth a little. Give it a light tug to make sure it’s secure.
TAKING IT OUT
Your FUN CUP is held in place by suction. Here are two possible ways to break the seal:
- Push down with your muscles and then pinch the cup.
- Reach in and press the rim of the cup with your fingertip.
Lightly pinching your cup, pull it out then empty it into the toilet. (Some people prefer to empty their cup in the shower, which works just as well.)
CLEANING
Between uses, rinse the cup out thoroughly. You can also wash it with a mild, unscented soap.
On the go? No worries. In a multi-stall restroom, just wipe the cup with a little toilet paper and put it back in. When your period is over, wash and dry your cup and store it in its antimicrobial bag.
